WARRANTY

Your handset is warranted against any defect or malfunctioning which may occur in conditions of normal use during the warranty period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover the following

  • Physical damage
  • Moisture damage
  • Misuse of the product and faults or damage that may arise due to normal wear and tear e.g. scratches to touchscreen
  • Software related issues due to third party downloads
  • Data loss
  • Unauthorised repairs/Opening by third parties
  • Any handset that has been jailbroken or rooted after-sale
  • Batteries are warranted for 3 months as incorrect charging can defect your battery quicker.

In the event of a warranty claim, Straight Talk will repair your product or send it to a third party repair center. If in the event that we cannot readily or economically repair your product, you will be issued a credit note to obtain a replacement product at the current value of your product at the time of warranty claim. Straight Talk cannot be held responsible for any repair work done to products that have previously been repaired in an unauthorised repair center and the warranty will be voided immediately. By completing a purchase you are agreeing to these warranty terms.

HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE?

Email support@straight-talk.ie, stating the problem. Before receiving warranty service, Straight Talk may require that you respond to questions designed to assist with diagnosing potential issues that may not require a full service and follow instructions on how to obtain the warranty service if required.
